(0) – Danish alternative metal quintet releases second single and video ‘Skyldnersol’ from forthcoming album

(0) is a Danish band that breaks down the boundaries between black, progressive, drone, and post-metal, completing its unique sound with Danish lyrics and growl vocals. All of this comes to life when (0) in a dark sphere fuses intense, raw sound with a massive use of lighting and impressive visual elements to create a spectacle of a live performance. After a four-year release hiatus, (0) is now back with its second album, KNÆK.MØRKE.MOD.LYS, (Danish for BREAK.DARKNESS.AGAINST.LIGHT) adding further dimensions to the enigmatic band’s work.

Back in September saw the release of the album’s first single ‘Det Sortner’ (‘it blackens’ in Danish) along with a lyric video and today, (0) shares the second single ‘Skyldnersol’ (‘Sun of the Guilty’ in Danish), also alongside a lyric video. Additionally the band has just announced a show on December 20th at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen, Denmark alongside strong Danish acts such as Eyes, Grava and Dirt Forge for A Colossal Kind of X-Mas – tickets are available HERE.

(0) states on the new single:
“‘Skyldnersol’ is about abandoning what you’ve been fighting for, ending up in a worse place, and accepting it. The video for the single is based on a Danish documentary about drug addicts in Copenhagen, and the people who try to help them.”
