Northern California deathcore beasts SALTWOUND have officially joined SharpTone Records! The band joins forces with one of the most influential tastemakers in modern metal and joins a crew of acts that include Better Lovers, Bleeding Through, Comback Kid, Loathe, Of Mice & Men and Stick To Your Guns to name a few. Following a slew of EP releases and massive worldwide underground support from fans, SALTWOUND returns with a bold and brutal new single today, titled “Hollow”. Commenting on the song, vocalist Spencer Timmons says:
“Compositionally speaking, ‘Hollow’ is a track that seamlessly incorporates both the driving grooves and crushing breakdowns that Saltwound is known for. The lyrics of the song speak to the emptiness and vapid nature of people that would rather capitalize off of others success than put in the work themselves to create something, as well as how those people seek to co-opt an identity that is not true to what they are.”
The single marks SALTWOUND’s first release with SharpTone Records as they embark on their next musical expedition with simmering plans for their debut full-length album.
