Italian Downtempo Deathcore heavy hitters Gravery officially signed with the USA Heavy Label UPSTATE RECORDS (Fury of Five, Freya, Subzero, Brick by Brick among others).
Gravery’s EP “Everything that is Born Must Die” was released on August 9th and distributed by the well known Bloodblast Distribution which is benefiting from expert support from the Nuclear Blast team.
This is what the band has to say about the new developments:“We are still processing what happened. For an overseas band like us to be part of the roster of an USA label like UPSTATE is just overwhelming. Till now we worked hard, but from today on we will work even harder to repay their trust. This will start with giving the 110% on stage during our upcoming EU and UK Tours”
Gravery will close the year 2024 with 50+ shows in 10 countries through EU and UK and is looking to continue on this path also in 2025.
Gravery’s “Everything that is Born Must Die” has a rough, direct and disturbing sound approach to outline uncomfortable topics such as the analysis of the destructive potential of the human mind. The songs hit straight in the stomach and leave the listener breathless and further stunned by the aggressiveness of the low tones and the merciless breakdowns leaving no room for interpretation as can be easily understood from the title chosen by the band for their first EP which saw the participation in the production of Chris Whited from Bodysnatcher (Bodysnatcher, Traitors), Stefano Santi (Lacuna Coil, Lvcifyer),Davide Billia (Hour of Penance, Vomit the Soul) and the talented Davide Panigada. Gravery’s live performances are defined as “savage and ferocious with a taste of creepyness”.
