The band tells about the song:“What’s the song about? Well, cheerful topics like addiction, depression, and anxiety. In this story, the protagonist’s life slips out of control — like a bar of soap in a prison shower — until they ultimately decide to paint a picture… with their victim’s blood. The lyrics, penned by Samu Haatainen and Jere Harju, take the listener deep into the darkest corners of addiction, portraying its pain, destruction, and the extreme consequences that unfold when things spiral too far.

The track also features guest vocals by Jere Harju. “Drowned” is not only a stark depiction of addiction’s hopelessness but also a powerful collaboration, where Harju’s distinctive voice and lyrics bring an intense and haunting element to the song’s conclusion”
